Ora Banda Mining (OBM) has identified five new drill targets after completing mapping and rock chip samples at its Callion project in Western Australia.

The targets were identified in the Greater Callion area, which surrounds the historical Callion mine.

This mine has a gold endowment of about 200,000 ounces at an average grade of 6.4 grams per tonne of gold.

The company is working to delineate the geological and structural settings of these gold occurrences in order to plan a drill program.

It intends to test the targets in early FY23, once a reverse circulation (RC) drill rig arrives on site.

OBM is currently conducting a first pass drilling program, north-west of the main Callion deposit.

This drilling aims to test for near surface gold mineralisation, with follow up RC drilling to be completed if successful.

Shares were trading up 2.86 per cent at 3.6 cents at 1:09 pm AEST.
