Ore Resources (ASX:OR3) has this week confirmed the gold system at Forrest remains open at depth and along strike, successfully extending known mineralisation by 60 metres to the south, after bringing in the final batch of Miriam results from its fourth-phase reverse circulation drilling programme.

Managing director Nick Rathjen noted that the results reinforce Forrest as a “robust, multi-lode gold system” with immediate potential for scale.

“With mineralisation remaining open in multiple directions, we see clear and immediate scale with growth potential through further targeted drilling,” the Western Australian explorer’s MD continued today.

Ore’s latest report included results from the remaining 11 holes of a 23-hole RC programme completed between January and February CY26. The drilling targeted southern strike and down-dip extensions, confirming the continuity of gold mineralisation across oxide, transitional, and fresh rock zones.

Hole FGRC059 was a major standout, coming in at 20 metres at 1.88 grams per tonne gold from 28 metres, including a high-grade zone of four metres at 7.61g/t; a 50-metre up-dip extension and 60m strike extension to the south.

“The Phase 4 RC drilling programme has provided a strong foundation for the recently completed 1,000-metre diamond drilling programme, which was specifically designed to test deeper extensions to the Forrest system below the previous RC drill coverage,” Mr Rathjen said on Ore’s next moves.

“Results from this… will be released progressively as assays are received, in a similar fashion to the RC programme,” he added. The first batch is due in May.

Elsewhere on Ore’s docket mid-CY26 is a “diversification” of its exploration efforts across broader Coolgardie. Aircore drilling will start in the next few days, targeting regional prospects at Miriam and first-pass drilling at Burbanks East, and more geophysics results from a SAM survey are due soon, too.

Early Thursday morning, OR3 shares are 6.8c each.
