Following an exploration review, PepinNini Minerals (PNN) is planning a drilling program at its Santa Ines Copper-Gold Project in the Salta province, Argentina.

The company has conducted exploration activities at the project which have identified two priority targets and high-grade assay results.

Initial fieldwork included a sampling program which targeted the historic Santa Ines Copper-Iron-Gold Mine. Sampling returned high grades including 21.7 per cent copper, 0.91g/t gold and 34.9g/t silver.

This was followed up with a rock chip sampling program which also yielded positive results including 3.25 per cent copper, 0.8g/t gold, 12.5g/t silver and 91.1 parts per million (ppm) molybdenum. Additional work returned 228 ppm copper and 13.7 parts per billion gold-in-soil samples.

The maiden program will include reverse circulation drilling at the two targets.

Initially, PepinNini will target the historic mine workings trend at depth to confirm the width and grade of copper and gold mineralisation.

The company will then focus on confirming that the source of the magnetic anomaly at target two is accompanied by copper and gold mineralisation.

Company shares are up 13.2 per cent and trading for 21.5 cents at 2:15 pm AEDT.
