- Pivotal Metals (PVT) appoints Ivan Fairhall as its CEO and Managing Director
- Mr Fairhall enters the role already having nearly 20 years of experience in the mining industry
- PVT also announced the appointment of Steven Turner as Non-Exec Director, while Ashley Hood has resigned as Non-Exec Director
- PVT shares closed 12.5 per cent higher, trading at 1.8 cents
Pivotal Metals (PVT) has appointed Ivan Fairhall as its newest CEO and Managing Director.
Mr Fairhall has nearly 20 years of experience in the mining industry and is an acknowledged engineer and mine finance professional.
His most recent roles include serving as the CEO of TSX-listed Mawson Gold.
Prior to that, he worked for seven years as a Senior Investment Manager for the UK private equity firm Greenstone Resources, where he identified and managed investments in early-stage companies all the way to stand-alone productions.
“I’m delighted to be appointed as CEO of Pivotal at this exciting juncture and to have the opportunity to deliver on the exploration and development milestones that should underscore the scale, quality and enormous value of the company’s assets.” Mr Fairhall said.
Mr Fairhall takes over from Steven Turner who will transition to the board as a Non-Executive Director.
The company announced that Mr Fairhall will receive an annual base salary of $300,000.
The company also announced Mr Turner would transition to a Non-Exec Director role, while Ashley Hood resigned as Non-Exec Director.
PVT shares closed 12.5 per cent higher, trading at 1.8 cents.
