Predictive Discovery (PDI) has received results from reverse circulation (RC) and air-core (AC) drilling at its Kaninko Project in Guinea.

In Guinea, Predictive holds nearly 800 kilometres squared of land, across nine exploration permits.

Results from the drilling indicated the presence of a very broad, north-trending zone showed high-grade gold intercepts, which is at least 450 metres long and open in all directions and at depth.

Significant intersections include 46 metres at 6.58 g/t of gold from four metres including 10 metres at 26.52 g/t of gold from 34 metres.

Results from the surface include 34 metres at 1.06 g/t of gold and 50 metres at 1.27 g/t of gold.

All holes were drilled at a maximum depth of 50 metres. Gold intercepts were found in 23 of the 24 holes, with many results from the surface.

Managing Director Paul Roberts is pleased with the results and says this is a great first step in what “appears to be a significant gold discovery in West Africa.”

“With this initial shallow program, we have confirmed the presence of the broad mineralised widths suggested by the earlier power auger drilling along with some impressively high gold grades,” Paul said.

“Many of the holes either started or stopped in gold mineralisation, which is therefore open both at depth and to the east and west on most drill lines,” he added.

The company is currently awaiting results from a further 23 holes at the Bankan Creek Prospect.

“We are also waiting for assays from our recently completed Bankan Creek drilling only 3 kilometres south-west of this discovery, which is a separate broad, gold mineralised system that has already demonstrated promising trenching and power auger drill results,” Paul explained.

On the market this morning, Predictive is booming in the green today, up 317 per cent and trading for 2.5 cents per share at 10:40 am AEST.
