- Signs seven-year contract with Valley Health
- Contract is for use of full stack of technology
- Visage 7 platform to be implemented in the cloud
- Transaction-based model with potential upside
Pro Medicus’ (ASX: PME) wholly-owned US subsidiary Visage Imaging has signed a seven-year, $25 million contract with Valley Health based in Winchester, Virginia.
Valley Health includes six hospitals, spanning the northern Shenandoah Valley of Virginia and the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia.
Valley Health Winchester Medical Centre is the flagship medical centre of the system, an award-winning regional referral centre and the only Level II trauma centre in the region.
The contract also includes migration of Valley Health’s legacy PACS archive to Visage 7 Open Archive, as well as distribution of images integrated into Valley Health’s electronic health record (EHR).
Planning for the rollout is to commence immediately and will be based on Visage’s proven cloud-based implementation process, with go-live targeted for Q1 in the 2027 calendar year.
“Valley Health provides award-winning care to their patients and is committed to improving the health of their region,” said CEO, Dr Sam Hupert.
“They join our established customers in Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic, reflecting an ever-growing list of Visage 7 clients opting for our fully cloud-based platform, which, as a result of our CloudPACS strategy, is becoming the standard in the North American healthcare IT market.
“Notably, they have also opted for our cardiology offering, which will provide Valley Health with a truly unified enterprise imaging solution, a trend we see continuing as increasingly more healthcare enterprises look to consolidate their disparate imaging systems.”
Dr Hupert said the company’s pipeline remains strong and spans all market segments.
“There is growing interest in our ‘Full Stack +1’ solution, comprising all three core Visage products – viewer, workflow, and archive, with the added option of ‘other -ologies’ such as cardiology,” he said.
PME was down 4.10% to $197.57. Mkt cap $21.52B.
