Precious metals explorer Prospech (PRS) has intersected up to 1220g/t silver from the Zemplin prospect.

Zemplin is part of the Cejkov-Zemplin Project which lies within the Eastern Slovakian neovolcanic belt.

The company recently drilled four holes at the prospect and has received results for three.

Best results include 4.3 metres at 201.4g/t silver and 0.1 per cent lead from 92.5 metres including 0.5 metres at 1220g/t silver from 92.5 metres.

Samples from the fourth hole have been sent to the laboratory for analysis and results are expected in due course.

Prospech is now reviewing the remote and drone magnetic contractors to further identify the trend of the main silver zone.

Furthermore, there is potential for gold mineralisation at depth as seen at the neighbouring Brehov property.

Managing Director Jason Beckton said: “The Zemplin prospect continues to deliver encouraging results and we intend to conduct an additional drill program on receipt of complete results. Now that a high grade zone has been defined, a drill out plan seeks to extend this zone along strike and at depth.

“Further west, drilling is currently underway at Prospech’s high-grade Krakauer gold-silver prospect. The first hole is complete at 200 metres with sampling not yet commenced.”

Shares in Prospech are up 12.1 per cent and are trading at 18.5 cents at 2:40 pm AEST.
