Prospech (PRS) has completed phase two drilling at the Zemplin silver-lead-zinc prospect at the Cejkov-Zemplin exploration licence in Slovakia.

The phase two drilling program follows the successful phase one program that intersected over 40 epithermal veins hosted within zones of hydrothermally altered volcanics.

This drilling also intersected 4.4 metres at 34g/t silver from 49.6 metres including 0.5 metres at 1220g/t silver from 92.5 metres, and six metres at 117g/t silver from 94 metres including 1.8 metres at 291g/t silver from 97.2 metres.

Results have been received for two of the holes under the phase two program with those for a further four currently being processed.

Results received so far include one metre at 148g/t silver and 0.46g/t gold from 118 metres, and five metres at 8g/t silver and 0.23g/t gold from 303 metres.

“The Zemplin prospect epithermal vein system has now been drill tested for a second time with the majority of assay results awaited. Sulphide quartz mineralisation has been sampled in the remaining four holes,” Managing Director Jason Beckton commented.

“Further west, on the company’s flagship Hodrusa exploration licence, drilling is planned for the large gold-silver rich historic Schopfer mine drill targets which have been selected due to a combination of historic underground sampling, historic production records and surface sampling.”

Prospech has ended the day in the grey with shares trading at 5.1 cents.
