Pursuit Minerals (PUR) intersected massive and disseminated sulphides after drilling two diamond holes at the Phil’s Hill Prospect in Western Australia.

The prospect is located within the wider Warrior platinum group element nickel-copper project located in the Yilgarn-Craton region.

The company recommenced the drilling program in September and has now completed drilling of the revised electromagnetic conductor positions.

Results have indicated a two metre zone of massive sulphide mineralisation at predicted conductor depth.

Additionally, chalcopyrite was noted over 2.69 metres above and within massive sulphide mineralisation.

Managing Director Mark Freeman said the drilling was very successful and the presence of visible chalcopyrite and pentlandite was very encouraging.

He said the company was eagerly awaiting remaining assays and analysis of remaining holes.

Moving forward, plans are in place for follow-up auger geochemistry at Phil’s Hill as well as geochemical and geophysical surveys at the Ablett Prospect which is north of Phil’s Hill.

Pursuit has also completed soil sampling at the Combatant Project and 869 samples are undergoing analysis and selective assaying with results expected in the latter part of quarter four 2021.

Shares were trading 4.76 per cent up at 4.4 cents at 10:34 am AEDT.
