Recharge Metals (REC) has intersected “significant” copper sulphide mineralisation at its Brandy Hill South project in Western Australia.

One of the best results hit 93 metres at 0.35 per cent copper from 209 metres, including 0.3 metres at 2.66 per cent copper.

Managing Director Brett Wallace said the results were “outstanding”.

“They represent the first assay results from Recharge’s diamond drilling program, and to hit a 93-metre copper intersection right off the bat provides strong initial confirmation of our geological model,” he said.

The results were consistent with visual observations and downhole transient electromagnetic (DHTEM) surveys.

As such, the company has planned to drill four diamond holes over priority DHTEM targets in the upcoming weeks.

Meanwhile, assays are pending for two additional diamond drill holes, which are due shortly.

Shares were trading down 13 per cent today, trading at 20 cents each at 11:55 am AEST.
