Recharge Metals (REC) has identified significant visible copper mineralisation in all holes at the Brandy Hill South Project in Western Australia.

Reverse circulation (RC) drilling was recently undertaken to test the continuity of the mineralisation and verify previous results.

Four RC holes, covering 610 metres, were drilled with all of them intersecting thick zones of copper sulphide mineralisation and occurring in ultramafic dolerites with quartz veining.

Visual estimates of copper sulphide mineralisation are indicative of the copper mineralisation intersected in the historical drilling. However, these visual observations are not an accurate representation of the expected assay value.

As a result, samples have been sent to the laboratory for analysis with results expected in due course.

A larger rig will now complete the remainder of the 2000-metre drilling program to test for depth extensions to the mineralisation.

“The maiden drilling program was planned to test the continuity of mineralisation, extensions along strike and to verify previous assay results,” Managing Director Brett Wallace said.

“The initial four holes drilled were extremely encouraging, each had significant intersections of copper sulphide mineralisation logged, with three holes terminating in visual copper sulphide mineralisation.”

Shares in Recharge Metals are up 30 per cent to $0.20 at 3:32 pm AEDT.
