Red River Resources (RVR) has hit high-grade gold during its maiden diamond drilling program at Curry’s Lode.

Curry’s Lode lies within the Hillgrove Gold Project, which is situated 23 kilometres east of Armidale in NSW.

Seven diamond holes were drilled and all intersected gold-tungsten-antimony mineralisation.

Best results include five metres at 3.0g/t gold, 0.6 per cent antimony and 0.08 per cent tungsten trioxide from 27 metres, including 0.5 metres at 19.7g/t gold, 5.8 per cent antimony and 0.3 per cent tungsten trioxide from 27.6 metres.

These results have confirmed the presence of high-grade gold-tungsten mineralisation at Curry’s Lode.

Further, the mineralisation at Curry’s Lode remains open both at length and at depth, and planning has begun to test extensions of the mineralisation.

Red River now plans to begin gold production at Hillgrove by the end of the year, first using material from existing stockpiles before restarting underground operations in mid-to-late 2021.

The company is also aiming to develop additional mining centres at Hillgrove.

Red River is up 5.26 per cent on the market and shares are trading for 30 cents each at 11:09 am AEDT.
