Subject to final permitting, Riedel Resources (RIE) will restart drilling at the Kingman Gold Project next month.

The Kingman Project lies in northwest Arizona, roughly a 90 minute drive from Las Vegas, Nevada.

It has seen limited modern exploration but was mined predominantly for high-grade gold and silver from the 1880s to the early 1940s.

Previous drilling has intersected multiple zones of high-grade gold, silver and lead from shallow depths which confirmed the extensive mineralisation potential.

This upcoming drilling will be carried out by Boart-Longyear (BLY) which was hired in mid-January to complete drilling at Kingman.

Initial focus will be on the Tintic mine area where previous drilling confirmed high-grade gold and silver assays.

Additionally, this previous drilling intersected up to 98.8 grams of gold per tonne (g/t) and 571g/t silver.

Furthermore, rock chip sampling returned multiple high-grade gold and silver assays with grades peaking at 8.8g/t gold, 146g/t silver, one per cent lead and 1.4 per cent zinc.

Chairman Michael Bohm is looking forward to undertaking drilling at the project.

“We are fortunate to be able to utilise the same team to undertake the program, including our geologists and the experienced drill crew, both of whom did a terrific job completing the drilling earlier this year,” Mr Bohm said.

“Given the high grades and shallow nature of the gold mineralisation seen in drilling to date at Tintic, we are very keen to get started.”

“Subject to commencing drilling in September and laboratory turnaround times, we anticipate first drill assay results commencing in November 2021.”

Riedel ended the day 6.67 per cent in the green with shares trading at 1.6 cents.
