In this interview, HotCopper reporter Sean Boss talks to RIU Essential Energy organiser Jaxon Crabb from Vertical Events about the 2024 iteration of the conference formerly known as Good Oil.

The Chinese economy has dampened commodity sentiment throughout the year with Brent Crude prices tracking closer to US$70/bbl – as opposed to the higher prices they commanded in 2022 and 2023.

But all is not lost, as made evident by a number of companies producing in the Australian energy explorer landscape, including Carnarvon Energy (ASX:CVN), Strike Energy (ASX:STX), Melbana Energy (ASX:MAY) and Elixir Energy (ASX:EXR).
