Rumble Resources (RTR) has intersected a 2.2-kilometre feeder structure through maiden drilling at the Chinook prospect within the Earaheedy project in Western Australia.

The company received reverse circulation (RC) results along the Sweetwater trend which led to intersecting the newly-named “Chikamin Feeder Zone”. This zone is zinc sulphide dominant and is said to have similar characteristics to the large-scale Kalitan Feeder Zone.

Results from the zone include 12 metres at 5.49 per cent zinc and lead from 56 metres including six metres at 9.9 per cent zinc and lead from 57 metres.

Additionally, drilling intersected two new parallel feeder zones approximately 300 and 600 metres west of the Chikamin Feeder Zone.

Results from EHRC609, drilled 300 metres west, include 22 metres at 2.88 per cent zinc and lead from 62 metres including 12 metres at 4.1 per cent zinc and lead from 69 metres.

EHRC632 was drilled 600 metres west and intersected six metres at 4.22 per cent zinc and lead from 72 metres including two metres at 8.15 per cent zinc and lead from 76 metres.

As a result of these new zones, the Chinook prospect’s mineralised footprint has further expanded to over 5.5 kilometres by two kilometres and remains open in all directions.

The company plans to continue drilling at different areas of the Earaheedy project with follow-up drilling also planned to test the new feeder structures.

RTR shares ended the day 1.96 per cent in the green to close at 26 cents.
