Sustainable packaging company, SECOS (SES) has launched MyEcoBag and MyEcoPet through Pacchini Sales and Distribution to over 200 independent stores in NSW.

Pacchini will launch three MyEcoBag bin liner stock keeping units (SKU’s) and two MyEcoPet SKU’s.

SECOS said with nearly 40 per cent of Australian households owning a dog, it will now begin to penetrate independent stores through a well-known distributor for its MyEcoPet product.

The two MyEcoPet SKU’s will be the first retail sales of that brand in Australia, following the product’s launch in the US.

MyEcoBag is currently stocked in Woolworths (WOW), Officeworks, and Veteran Canteen Services with further major retailers expected to launch the product in the coming months.

Chief Executive Officer Ian Stacey said he is pleased to be working with a reputable distributor.

“We are extremely pleased to be dealing with Pacchini who are a longstanding family-run business, with an excellent reputation in the retail industry,” he said.

“Pachinni have developed a loyal following and have well-established relationships with
retailers throughout NSW and other states and cover all market sectors from major chains to independents.”

Pacchini National Sales Manager Sergio Pacchini said he is excited to be working with an environmentally friendly company.

“We have learnt over the years to be very selective of the products and companies we represent, SECOS Group’s focus on delivering certified compostable solutions to reduce the growing plastic issues is something we are passionate about and are proud to offer to our customers,” he said.

Shares closed 3.33 per cent down today at 29 cents each.
