Simble Solutions (SIS) has launched an upgraded version of its SimbleHome App.

The app allows Australian households to track and analyse their energy consumption, helping them identify cost and energy-saving opportunities, as well as compare companies across the energy retail market.

Additionally, it can also incorporate solar information and integrate it with non-energy related information such as humidity and temperature.

This new updated version includes the app, an energy internet of things (IoT) meter, and installation.

Furthermore, this updated version allows users to ‘buy now, pay later’ between two to 36 instalments, under a Splitit (SPT) platform agreement.

“We are very pleased to have released this upgraded version of our cutting-edge SimbleHome App with a bundled IoT device and a ‘buy now, pay later’ functionality,” CEO Ronen Ghosh commented.

“Our vision is for every home in Australia to use this solution so that they can change their electricity usage patterns and rule their electricity consumption,” he said.

“In addition, the ‘buy now, pay later’ functionality will enable us to secure our access to guaranteed payments while also making it more affordable for end customers to sign,” he added.

To drive commercialisation of the app, Simble has partnered with the likes of property group Mirvac, Harvey Norman Commercial Division, and energy marketplace provider Accurassi.

A further upgrade will be released in due course, incorporating an energy retailer comparison and switching function.

Simble has ended the day 2.94 per cent in the green with shares trading for 3.5 cents each in an $8.10 million market cap.
