Simble Solutions (SIS) has signed a three-year contract with renewable energy provider United Solar.

The software-as-a-service (SaaS) and energy deal will see United Solar deploying the SimbleSense platform and SimbleHome App to its commercial and industrial (C&I), small-to-medium enterprises and residential customers.

Specifically, it will roll out the service to its customer base of more than 12,000 across Australia, Malaysia, The Philippines, Sri Lanka and Latin America.

SimbleSense is an energy visualisation & analytics platform touted as “making energy visible for business”. The SimbleHome App allows consumers to monitor and understand their solar generation and energy usage in their home.

The deal notes a minimum commitment to rollout the app and metering devices to 500 residential homes, which the company expects to return revenues in excess of $260,000 over the term of the agreement.

Further, Simble expects to see SaaS revenues generated from additional SimbleHome subscriptions for residential customers and SimbleSense subscriptions for C&I customers.

Simble Founder & Executive Director Fadi Geha commented on the deal.

“We see a great many opportunities in the fast growing and environmentally sustainable solar energy sector and see this agreement as a ringing endorsement of our strategic focus on this sector,” he said.

Simble states that SaaS and hardware revenues will commence immediately based on the committed rollout of 500 residential sites.

Shares are trading 12.1 per cent higher at 3.7 cents each at 4:10pm AEST.
