Siren Gold (SNG) has reported “exceptional” high-grade results from the Auld Creek prospect in New Zealand.
The results come from trenches and historical diamond drill holes within the Fraternal zone of the prospect.
Trench intersections include six metres at 8.9 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 4.4 per cent antimony, and 1.5 metres at 17.1 g/t gold and nine per cent antimony.
Diamond intersections include 12 metres at 4.1 g/t gold and 2.9 per cent antimony, and 4.5 metres at three g/t gold and 3.2 per cent antimony.
These holes intersected high-grade mineralisation which extends for over two kilometres at the Auld Creek prospect and appears to represent a block that may have been offset to the west and between the historical 418,000-ounce Globe Progress and 515,000-ounce Crushington mines.
Siren Gold plans to continue field exploration over the next quarter, as well as diamond drilling in the first quarter of 2023.
SNG shares ended the day 2.5 per cent in the green to close at 20.5 cents.
