Sky Metals (SKY) has reported further tin mineralisation at its Tallebung tin project in New South Wales.

The company drilled 12 reverse circulation (RC) holes to infill extensions to tin mineralisation intercepted earlier this year. The RC program also aimed to explore further extensions to tin mineralisation.

Today’s results account for 11 holes which have further defined high-grade zones and additional tin mineralisation at the project.

Highlighted results include 98 metres at 0.1 per cent tin from three metres including 10 metres at 0.71 per cent tin and 30 g/t silver from 58 metres.

Additional results include 43 metres at 0.2 per cent tin from five metres including six metres at 0.43 per cent tin.

“At current prices, +0.7 per cent tin corresponds to over 3g/t gold equivalent in value. This highlights the value of these results at Tallebung, particularly combined with the very favourable and simple metallurgy of the tin cassiterite mineralisation expected,” CEO Oliver Davies said.

Sky is planning follow-up RC and diamond drilling at the project to explore further extensions and better understand the structural controls of mineralisation.

The company is also simultaneously completing metallurgical testwork on favourable tin oxide mineralisation with results expected this month.

Furthermore, Sky Metals has now completed 15 of the planned 30 RC holes at the 3KEL target within the Doradilla tin project in NSW. Assays are pending.

SKY ended the day with shares trading steady at 6.6 cents.
