SRG Global (SRG) has secured multiple significant new contract awards with existing tier-one clients South32, Fremantle Ports and BCI Minerals, valued approximately at $80 million.

The South32 term contract is for two years and is an extension to the existing contract for
works at the Worsley Alumina bauxite and alumina refinery operations in Western Australia.

Under the extended contracts, the company will provide civil services for the continuous enhancement of BRDA embankments as well as other civil and road maintenance services.

The contract will begin immediately and is now expected to complete in 2024.

The Fremantle Ports contract will have a duration of two years with an optional one-year extension.

The scope of work covers the design, supply and installation of the hybrid cathodic protection system and concrete maintenance repairs at the Kwinana Bulk Jetty in WA.

Like the South32 term, the contract will commence immediately and is expected to complete by 2025.

Finally, the BCI Minerals contract will see the company continue to provide earthworks and civil services for the construction of evaporation pond embankment walls as well as other civil infrastructure for gas pipeline corridors and drainage at the Mardie Salt and Potash Project in WA.

Similar to the other contracts, the BCI contract extension applies to existing works that will start immediately and will complete this year.

Managing Director David Macgeorge commented that the contracts strengthen the company’s portfolio of projects in marine remediation and provide value-engineered services to clients from project inspection.

Shares in SRG were up 4.07 per cent at market close, ending the day at 64 cents.
