Nexxis is a leading Australian robotics original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and asset integrity specialist, whilst ACE is a specialist inspection business with data analytics capability and established access to key energy markets,

As an initial step under the MoU, ACE has been welcomed into the Nexxis Early Adopter Program, providing access to Nexxis’s proprietary 3D mapping and localisation platform (3D- SLAM) ahead of broader market availability, in support of digital twin development.

SRJ’s CEO, Kurt Reeves, said the MoU establishes a phased approach to technology access and commercial development, including the potential for a capital-efficient leaseback model that would give ACE access to Nexxis’ OEM-maintained robotic platforms

“This MoU is the starting point for what we believe can be a genuinely significant partnership between SRJ and Nexxis. What we are building here is a service capability that combines leading robotics hardware and technology with a team that knows how to deploy it – and critically knows how to turn the data it produces into real value for our clients,” he said,

“Nexxis brings equipment access, while we bring market access, service expertise, and the data analytics capability to make that technology meaningful in practice. Together, we believe we can offer something that is genuinely differentiated in the energy sector. Importantly, this is aligned with our strategy of working with the right partners to deliver a service that improves safety, reduces cost and minimises downtime in sectors where reliability is paramount.”

Nexxis’s founding director, Jason De Silveira, said ACE and SRJ are the innovative, operationally credible partners Nexxis was looking for to expand the adoption of our technology to international markets.

“Their presence and reputation in the Middle East and North Sea energy sector gives us the ideal platform to demonstrate what our technology can do in the world’s most demanding environments.

SRJ was up 27.3% to 1.4¢. Mkt cap $18 million.
