Sunshine Gold (SHN) has confirmed multiple mineralised zones at the Titov Prospect at Ravenswood West.

The company has released assay results from its 501.5 metre diamond hole (21TVDD001), which has confirmed the prospect continues and open at depth.

Together with results from an induced polarisation survey, the assay results from the diamond hole drilling indicated multiple zones of significant mineralisation, confirming multiple mineralised zones which sets the targets for future drilling.

Hole 21TVDD001 was collared 430 metres SSE of the outcropping mineralisation at Titov Main with intersected intervals of high-grade copper-gold-silver-molybdenum mineralisation at shallow depths, which is recorded as Titov South.

The best results from hole 21TVDD001 included three metres at 1.69 per cent copper, 0.22 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold, 17.28 g/t of silver and 0.01 per cent of molybdenum from 69 metres.

Hole DDH5 reported a historic intersection of 112 metres at 0.35 per cent copper and 0.09 per cent molybdenum, however no assays were taken for gold and silver amongst others and is located around 85m along strike from the nearest drilled RC holes.

The hole was relogged and partially resampled, with the best partial resampling result to include six metres at 0.67 per cent copper, 0.08 g/t of gold, 2.80 g/t of silver and 0.18 per cent molybdenum from 40 metres at Titov Main.

Managing Director Damien Keys said that the results showed “huge strides in the understanding of Titov in a short period of time”.

“We were able to locate portions of historic 1969 drill holes, including DDH5, which was drilled 85m along strike of Sunshine Gold’s nearest RC holes [that we were able to] selectively resample the core which demonstrated the potential for improving copper, molybdenum and gold grades east of the current drilling,” he said.

He also said that the next phase of drilling will commence in late April and will test eastern extensions to Titov Main, the new opportunity at Titov South and test beneath the mapped breccia at Titov North.

SHN shares were down 13.3 per cent, trading at 3.9 cents as of 12:11 pm AEST.
