Sunshine Gold (SHN) has seen broad copper zones continue at its Ravenswood West project in Queensland.

The company received reverse circulation assay results from both the Bank and Titov East prospects, which fall within a 15-kilometre-long mineralised corridor at Ravenswood West.

Assays from a five-hole reconnaissance drilling program at Bank contained increased copper grades towards the end of hole, which Sunshine said suggests a strengthening copper trend to the south of current drilling.

Results included 70 metres at 0.22 per cent recoverable copper equivalent, including three metres at 0.76 per cent recoverable copper equivalent from 153 metres.

Sunshine Gold’s Managing Director Damien Keys said the reverse circulation reconnaissance program at Bank has given the company a solid vector to another porphyry copper-gold-silver-molybdenum system.

“The 70-metre thick intercept of copper mineralisation at the end of 22BKRC005 is a fantastic result from limited drill metres and will allow us to effectively test the Bank in our September drilling campaign,” he said.

Meanwhile, assay results from broad step-off drilling at Titov Main extended the length of the mineralised zone to over 500 metres.

Assay results from Titov confirmed the continuity of a high-grade footwall zone and included 103 metres at 0.57 per cent recoverable copper equivalent.

“The results from the eastern end of Titov Main have returned more solid copper and molybdenum mineralisation,” Mr Keys added.

Assays are still pending for 14 reverse circulation holes at Titov Main, Titov North and Titov South.

Sunshine Gold ended the day in the grey with shares trading at 3.4 cents.
