Superloop (SLC) has won a contract to exclusively supply wholesale nbn aggregation services for MNF Group’s (MNF) subsidiary, Symbio.

The multi-year contract is expected to be valued at more than $25 million which makes it Superloop’s largest single contract win so far.

Under the contract, Symbio will shift its existing and future supply arrangements from various nbn services onto the Superloop Connect platform.

“We are excited that Symbio has chosen Superloop to underpin their nbn network services further building on our longstanding and successful relationship,” Superloop CEO and Managing Director Paul Tyler said.

“The Superloop network has been designed for this very purpose and we’ve built significant capacity to cater for the continued growth we are anticipating across Australia,” he added.

Superloop provides internet services through its recently launched Superloop Connect platform. Superloop Connect is an application programming interface (API)-driven platform that allows customers to access Superloop’s nbn backhaul
and virtual network-to-network interface (nni) capabilities.

The contract may also see Superloop expand its existing use of Symbio’s voice offerings and including elements within its own portfolio of offerings.

“We selected Superloop to be our partner for the provision of nbn aggregation services due to the state-of-the-art Superloop Connect platform combined with the strength of their underlying network and looking forward to taking this long term partnership from success to success,” MNF Group CEO Rene Sugo said.

Superloop is up 6.12 per cent and shares are trading at $1.04, while MNF Group is down a slight 0.94 per cent, with shares trading at $4.21 at 1:02 pm AEDT.
