Australia’s newest blockchain and NFT consultancy service launched this week as tech-savvy entrepreneurs work to help usher in the new age of the internet.

Take3 is offering Australian businesses and individuals NFT project management, strategic consulting, development services, ‘Web3’ training, and transition support for businesses moving from Web2 to Web3.

The company’s mission is to simplify Web3 and offer end-to-end support for clients.

What is Web3?

The concept of Web3 encompasses a more trustworthy world wide web through the adoption of blockchains, cryptocurrencies and NFTS.

Coined by Etherium co-founder Gavin Wood, Web3 is meant to represent an era where blockchain-based digital assets give users more online control in the form of ownership.

According to Ethereum.org, Web3 also allows people to tokenise assets, much like NFTs, and individuals can own the rights of a company and be included in making decisions about its future.

Web3 is decentralised, permissionless — meaning anyone can participate — and trustless, meaning it does not rely on trusted third parties to operate.

Take3’s mission, then, is to drive mainstream adoption of decentralisation, data ownership, and Web3.

Who’s behind Take3?

The Take3 agency is spearheaded by director and founder Renee Francis.

Ms Francis was a previous Web3 investor and the founder and director of digital marketing agency The Bubble Co.

A team of Web3 natives join the CEO, including two new Web3 strategists, John Siderides, the founder of NFT Sydney, and Madeleine Jones, the recent community head of the Deep Waters Web3 project.

The rest of the team consists of blockchain developers and designers as well as content specialists, marketers, and project managers.

Project managers are responsible for offering complete support for clients in Web3.

“We’re all so passionate about the space — we’ve been there for the bear markets and the bull runs and believe in the opportunities that Web3 presents for businesses and brands to grow and innovate in the space — not just in terms of NFTs or hype projects,” Ms Francis said.

The company said it went beyond marketing and consulting, with offers of NFT project management and development strategies to ensure foundation and longevity.

“The space can feel overwhelming, even for players who have been in the game for a while,” Ms Francis explained.

“We aim to break concepts down to make them simple to digest, analyse business objectives and really get to the crux of opportunities to genuinely allow brands to grow in the space, setting them up for long-term success with well-defined strategies.”

The company said it had plans to grow a world-class team this year and beyond, with Web3 strategist John Siderides commenting that the impact Web3 had already made could not be ignored.

“Our team is extremely driven to make a difference, combining years of knowledge in our former lives as designers, developers, marketers, strategists, content creators, and project managers. We have what it takes to help brands take that leap to long-term success,” Mr Siderides said.

Web3 has gained recent momentum through big brands such as Tiffany & Co, Nike, the Australian Open and Starbucks, which have all taken on NFT projects.

The big names have also begun AI-driven experiences, including interactions within the metaverse.

Take3 will hit the ground running, with projects across varied industries, including insurance, travel and virtual land upcoming.

Launch client names have, however, been withheld due to non-disclosure agreements.
