TALi Digital (TD1) has formally appointed Dr Mary-Beth Brinson as CEO, effective immediately.

Dr Brinson is the current Chief Medical Officer and has been the interim CEO since April.

The Board felt her broad experience and business capabilities, including a 16-year career at medical devices company Cochlear (COH), made her the right person for the role.

“I am very pleased to accept the role of CEO at TALi Health,” Dr Brinson commented.

“The opportunity to help children with chronic attention issues using digital therapeutics is an important one. I am looking forward to achieving this goal with TALi Health.”

A qualified audiologist, Dr Brinson was the former Vice President of Global Clinical Affairs at Cochlear and is an Adjunct Fellow at Macquarie University in Sydney.

She holds a Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Louisville in Kentucky, a Master of Business Administration from Rutgers University in New Jersey and a bachelor’s degree in Audiology and Speech Pathology from the University of Georgia in the US.

The total remuneration package includes a $310,000 per annum salary, excluding superannuation.

She is eligible for short-term and long-term incentives at the Board’s discretion upon achievement of mutually agreed key performance indicators and shareholder approval.

Both Dr Brinson and the company are required to provide four weeks’ notice of
resignation or termination respectively.

Shares in TALi Digital were up 16.7 per cent, trading at 0.7 cents as of 1:55 pm AEST.
