BetMakers Holdings has secured a distribution deal to televise its US greyhound racing content to Australian and New Zealand viewers.

BetMakers DNA, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company, entered a distribution rights deal with wagering rights company TGS Global Wagering. TGS will be bringing greyhound racing content to represented clients Sportsbet, Ladbrokes, BetEasy, Bet365, Neds and Unibet, among others.

BetMakers also recently released a digital widget on Betmakers DNA mobile and desktop applications, allowing customised ‘channels’ for wagers.

Currently available through sportsbooks NEDS and TopBetta, the widget customises readily available broadcasts to bring the most enjoyed content and betting races to viewers.

BetMakers CEO Todd Buckingham says clients will have access to over 1,000 races each week on their own tailored channels.

“It’s a fantastic point of difference for our clients and we look forward to building this channel up further with even more content,” he said.

The company also recently entered an agreement with e-betting service PlayUp to receive a percentage of gaming bets revenue. PlayUp operate as a sportsbook strictly for digital gaming.

BetMakers provide software licenses and services to PlayUp as part of the deal, to bring users more platforms to gamble on.

BetMakers have been facing a downward trend in their ASX pricing over the last few months, but saw a large spike early this month as seen below.

Despite the positive announcement, BetMakers dropped 5.26 in the ASX, sitting with a market cap at $12.77 million, shares worth 5.4 cents a piece.
