Tempest Minerals (TEM) has intersected further gold mineralisation at the Warriedar West Project in Western Australia.

The project lies 400 kilometres north of Perth in the Yalgoo Region and covers 333 square kilometres. It’s prospective for gold and precious metals.

Previous drilling at the project has focused on several target areas of shallow, outcropping zones of altered silica-rich intrusive and quartz veining.

Tempest’s most recent drilling follow-up on previous mineralisation identified at the OK Corral area and shallow greenstones.

The maiden hole intersected several metres of weathered mineralised quartz vein, with one metre at 5.0g/t gold from seven metres intersected.

Further, this hole remains open at depth and along strike.

Further assay results are pending and will be announced once received and analysed.

Tempest has begun planning for future drill programs at Warriedar and to begin work at the Messenger Project.

Tempest is down 2.86 per cent on the market and shares are trading at 3.4 cents at 3:11 pm AEDT.
