Tempus Resources (TMR) has recorded the best intersection ever encountered at the Elizabeth gold project in British Columbia, Canada.

The company received assays for the first three holes completed under its 2022 drilling program which is testing the Blue Vein structure over roughly 400 metres of strike.

Hole EZ-22-03 returned a “bonanza” grade of 523 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 0.42 metres from 96.91 metres and 0.45 metres at 32.7 g/t gold from 124.02 metres including 0.11 metres at 133 g/t gold.

EZ-22-03 also returned a wider interval of 1.73 metres at 7.4 g/t gold from 164.41 metres.

“We have a phenomenal start, with drillhole EZ-22-03 reporting the highest grade intersections we’ve ever seen at Elizabeth!” President and CEO Jason Bahnsen said.

While the third hole returned the standout result, all three holes successfully hit Blue Vein gold mineralisation in multiple, closely-spaced intersections. The company said this indicates potential for stacked high-grade vein mineralisation in a wider Blue Vein structure.

Tempus has so far completed 18 drill holes as part of the 2022 campaign and assays are pending for 15 of the holes.

At this stage, high-grade gold mineralisation has been defined over more than 100 metres of strike.

TMR shares have soared 64.9 per cent on the back of this news to trade at 9.4 cents each as of 1:03 pm AEST.
