Tempus Resources (TMR) has received up to 253.6g/t gold from its Mineral Creek Property in British Columbia, Canada.

Results from this program include 7.2 metres at 159.03g/t gold from 63.8 metres including 4.50 metres at 253.6g/t gold from 64.3 metres, 0.8 metres at 244g/t gold from 42.1 metres, and 1.65 metres at 215.55g/t gold from 26 metres.

Tempus’ Mineral Creek Gold Property is located on Vancouver Island in Canada, approximately 10 kilometres east of Port Alberni.

The property is made-up of 42 mineral claims, covering an area of 9877.29 hectares.

Mineral Creek has operations dating back to the 1800’s when gold was mined from high-grade gold-quartz veins.

During the 1980’s, approximately 50,000 metres of diamond drilling was completed at Mineral Creek and drilling focused on the potential gold and volcanic massive sulphide mineralisation.

In the 2000’s, a total of 216 diamond holes, for 37,503.6 metres, were completed and identified six high-grade gold zones.

Despite Mineral Creek not being Tempus’ primary project, the company will be assigning further resources to advance the area.

Field assessments and sampling programs are being planned and are set to begin in the upcoming weeks.

Tempus has jumped 32 per cent in the green and shares are trading for 16.5 cents each at 1:26 pm AEST.
