Eden Innovations (ASX: EDE) was up on news it has received a further purchase order for EdenCrete Pz7 worth US$334,110 from Holcim Ecuador, a large Ecuadorian concrete producer and an existing Eden customer that forms part of a leading global building materials group.

The EdenCrete Pz7 will be used at the customer’s concrete plants in Ecuador, including in high-strength concrete mixes and in lower-carbon concrete mixes.

Including this latest order, cumulative EdenCrete Pz7 orders from the customer since May 2024 now total US$1,031,980. The two most recent orders, placed within approximately eleven months of each other, together total US$675,960.

“Passing US$1 million in cumulative orders from a single South American customer is an important milestone for EdenCrete Pz7. It demonstrates that, once Pz7 is designed into a producer’s mixes, it becomes a regular, plant-scale purchase,” executive chairman, Gregory Solomon, said.

EDE jumped 19.3% to 6.8¢.

Venari Minerals (ASX: VMS) jumped after receiving highly encouraging results from the latest metallurgical test-work at its 100%-owned Red Mountain lithium and strategic metals project in Nevada

The results demonstrated the potential for hydrochloric acid (HCl) leaching to deliver high lithium extraction rates while simultaneously liberating over 93% of strontium and magnesium.

Chairman, Tony Leibowitz, said the results represent an important step forward in evaluating potential processing pathways for Red Mountain, revealing high leachabilities for both strontium and magnesium, as well as delivering higher lithium extractions at lower acid consumption than the company’s previously reported sulfuric acid leach tests on the same material5.

“These exceptional metallurgical results represent another important step forward for Red Mountain. Achieving lithium extraction rates of up to 99.1%, together with lower acid consumption than our previous sulfuric acid tests, is highly encouraging as we work to identify the most efficient and commercially attractive processing pathway for the Project. This has valuable implications for both recovery and reagent cost.”

VMS rose 18.2% to 13.0¢.

Mamba Exploration (ASX: M24) took off when it revealed it had commenced maiden reverse circulation (RC) drilling at the 70% owned Meeka East gold project in the Murchison region of Western Australia.

Drilling has started at 140 Foot Well, the first of three gold targets at the project.

“We’re very pleased to be commencing our maiden RC drilling program. The first holes are going into 140 Foot Well, with un-drilled undercover targets, in a district that hosts Bluebird, Paddy’s Flat and Side Well,” executive director, Matt Freedman, said.

The drilling will have a particular focus on the 140 Foot Well target that covers a seven km under cover litho-structural corridor that has never been drill tested, giving Mamba the first look at a target of genuine scale.

Elsewhere, large Australian employers are accelerating the shift beyond salary-only remuneration, with new research from Sharesies revealing that 95% of decision makers at large employers surveyed either already offer an Employee Share Scheme (ESS) or are considering introducing one within the next three years.

The findings suggest the next three years could mark a significant period of change in workplace remuneration, as large employers rethink how pay, employee ownership and long-term wealth creation can help them attract, engage and retain talent.

“Large Australian employers are rethinking what a compelling remuneration package looks like. Salary remains fundamental, but organisations are increasingly considering how ownership can help employees build long-term wealth while creating a stronger connection to the business,” Susannah Batley, general manager of Sharesies Business, said.
