Tivan (ASX:TVN) and its project partner Earth AI are readying up the drill rigs to kick off a fresh drill run at the NT-based Sandover lead-silver project.

The company reported high-grade surface lead mineralisation at the Aileron Station target with grades up to 23.8% – based on rock chip samples.

Lead isn’t the only thing geotechs have their eyes on. Aileron Station, Tivan wrote on Friday, is also a silver target, given the presence of galena – detected in a petrographic analysis of rockchips.

The 23.8% lead clocked in rock chips and announced Friday is the highest to date for that metal found at Sandover; in response, the company is revising its drill program to target any potential mineral system at depth.

EARTH AI will provide its own in-house diamond drill rig team who will also be looking for copper potential, as well as that of lithium, across the considerable Sandover permit.

“Our update today shows the Sandover Project taking shape in practically real time and highlights the differentiated value proposition that EARTH AI has brought through its AI technology and data skills,” Tivan EC Grant Wilson said.

“We are excited to be in the final preparatory stage of what may be a historic drill campaign at Aileron. And we are pleased to be progressing across the entire Project landscape, setting the stage for several years of discovery ahead”.stoc
