Following the approval of a program of works, TNT Mines (TIN) is set to begin drilling at the Warriedar Project in April.

The Warriedar Project lies roughly 420 kilometres northeast of Perth and 50 kilometres northwest of Paynes Find in Western Australia.

The project spans approximately 45 square kilometres and consists of one prospecting licence and four exploration leases.

Once the rig has been secured, operations will begin at the Reids Ridge and Mt Laws prospects.

Reids Ridge

Around 40 holes, for 5000 metres, will be drilled at Reids Ridge to intersect the down-dip extension of known mineralisation.

Mineralisation at Reids Ridge is associated with a northeast–southwest trending fault structurer associated with silification and sulphidation.

Reids Ridge has produced high-grade gold mineralisation since 1913 with grades peaking at 19.77g/t gold.

Mt Laws

Drilling at Mt Laws will focus to the east and west of previously completed work.

Mineralisation at the prospect is associated with a contact between a banded iron formation (BIF) unit and surrounding dolerite.

This contact hosts quartz veining as well as small amounts of sulphides at depth.

Previous reverse circulation (RC) drilling undertaken by Norwest Minerals (NWM) returned results of four metres at 3.48g/t gold, two metres at 3.32g/t gold and two metres at 3.09g/t gold.

Eureka

TNT has also completed drilling at the Eureka Project in Western Australia.

All up, 89 holes, for 11,441 metres, were drilled, and samples have been sent to the laboratory for analysis.

Once results are received, which are expected no later than the first week of April, TNT begin planning a second phase program.

TNT has ended the day 9.09 per cent in the green with shares trading at 18 cents in a $15.90 million market cap.
