Toro Energy (TOE) has intersected 15 centimetres of massive nickel sulphide from hole TED03 at the Dusty Nickel-Gold Prospect.

Dusty is located within the Yandal Gold Project, which lies in the Yandal Greenstone Belt, 15 kilometres northeast of the Bronzewing Gold Mine in Western Australia.

Hole TED03 was the first diamond hole to be drilled at the prospect. Based on results from x-ray fluorescence (pXRF) analysis, it returned nickel grades between two per cent and four per cent.

However, these grades will need to be verified by geochemical analysis. The core is currently being processed for geochemical sampling and will then be sent to the laboratory.

Despite this, the intersection identified at Dusty proves that it is prospective for massive nickel sulphides.

The aim of this hole was to provide a better understanding of the nickel sulphides intersected in hole TERC13.

As previously announced, this hole intersected 36 metres of dispersed nickel sulphides from 144 metres at an average grade of 0.23 per cent nickel.

Due to the success of hole TED03, Toro has already begun drilling hole TED04, which is located 40 metres southeast of TED03.

Company shares are up an even 10 per cent on the market and are trading for 1.1 cents each at 11:50 am AEST.
