Trigg Mining (TMG) has started works for an infill gravity survey at its wholly-owned Lake Throssell Sulphate of Potash Project.

Lake Throssell covers an area of 868 square kilometres and is located 170 kilometres east of Laverton in Western Australia.

The infill gravity survey includes 14 lines for 107 kilometres. Along with a survey conducted earlier this year, the infill gravity survey will provide the first comprehensive and accurate picture of the whole tenement. This will help to refine drilling locations for an upcoming aircore drilling program.

Additionally, Trigg has made significant progress with its initial 24-hole helicopter-supported shallow lake rotary drilling program.

This exploration work commenced over one week ago and is expected to be completed by the end of the week.

“This is the start of what we anticipate will be a very busy period for the company as we evaluate the Lake Throssell SOP Project, which we regard as the jewel crown of our SOP portfolio east of Laverton in WA,” Managing Director Keren Paterson said at the time.

Upcoming aircore drilling is scheduled to begin in the current quarter and will support a potential maiden JORC Mineral Resource for the Lake Throssel Project.

Company shares remain flat and are trading for 9.8 cents each at 11:16 am AEST.
