The ASX has been up 0.5% at 7,976 points through morning trade.

IT has been the best-performing sector so far today, up 1.7%, followed by Health Care, up 1.1%, and Industrials, up 0.9%.

Utilities has been the worst performing sector, down 0.8%, followed by Staples, down 0.7%, and Materials, down 0.4%.

Anson Resources (ASX:ASN) has been the most watched on the HotCopper forums today. The company announced the successful completion of the pilot program with KOCH Technology Solutions. Anson’s Direct Lithium Extraction achieved an average lithium recovery rate of 98%.

FBR (ASX:FBR) has also been trending this Tuesday after heading into a trading halt for the next two days pending a capital raise announcement.

Rounding out the most discussed today has been Belararox (ASX:BRX), which told shareholders it had identified significant visual copper mineralization intersections above target depth at its Tambo South project.
