With more than seven million users on the HotCopper forums, every discussion and speculation can move Australian markets, which is why getting out in front of those trends is so important for any trader worth their salt.

Listen to the HotCopper podcast for in-depth discussions and insights on all the biggest headlines from throughout the week. On Spotify, Apple, and more.

In this daily HotCopper Trends column, we break down the top three stocks talked about on any given trade day, and why they’ve drawn a daily focus.

Arafura Rare Earths (ASX:ARU) has been the most-discussed (and very much the most watched) stock on the HotCopper forums today, after the heavily followed company pulled the brakes before trade started this morning.

The critical minerals explorer has been in the headlines plenty these last few weeks after the Albo-Trump deal. This halt is likely for a cap raise to be run this week.

Price-wise, ARU has been 37.5cps.

Elsewhere, Resolution Minerals (ASX:RML) has been getting chins wagging after spotting a “significant” gold discovery at the Horse Heaven project.

RML shares have been -12.5% lower through Tuesday, selling at 7c each.

And finally, CSL Limited (ASX:CSL) drew more than 24,000 views across its quarterly reporting thread. The bourse blue-chip also hosted an AGM this morning, and dumped as much as -14.9% after disappointing today.

And for the wider bourse, things have shifted -0.4%.

That’s Tuesday’s HotCopper Market Trends, I’m Isaac McIntyre – see you for close.
