The U.K. Government’s Centre for Protection of National Infrastructure (CPNI) has certified DroneShield’s (DRO) DroneSentinel counter drone system.
As a result, DroneSentinel has been included in the CPNI Catalogue of Society (CSE).
The CSE is an approved list of products for deployment across various critical infrastructure customers in the U.K., such as airports, stadiums and other key areas.
“The importance of this world’s first formal Government certification is that is substantially reduces procurement cycle in the nascent counterdrone space by giving prospective customers certainty of product quality,” DroneShield CEO Oleg Vornik commented.
“We expect this certificate to drive significant additional end customer interest in the U.K. and also globally,” he added.
DroneSentinel combines all of DroneShield’s detector sensors into one product and by doing so creates a compact and easy to use product.
An instinctive user interface provides live and historical data from all sensors and broadcasts configurable alerts based on user-defined criteria.
Its water resistance and rugged design protects it from the harsh environment.

DroneShield has ended the day 3.57 per cent in the red with shares trading for 27 cents apiece in a $68.16 million market cap.
