Navitas Limited has announced a six per cent increase in student enrolments for the first semester of 2019.
The global education services provider has revealed full-time student enrolments were up from 19,615 in semester one 2018 to 20,782 for this period.
Enrolments in Australia and New Zealand are on par with previous results however international student enrolments in South Asia increased significantly.
Enrolments also continued to grow in the UK with a 15 per cent increase and North America with a 5 percent increase.
The rest of the world also experienced growth which is mainly due to the ACBT colleges launched in Sri Lanka and Navitas’ partnership with Murdoch Dubai beginning operations.
Navitas focuses on providing educational services through university programs, creative media education, professional education, and English training.
CEO David Buckingham is pleased with the results.
“We are pleased with this growth of six per cent both within the 1901 semester and across the whole of FY19. We have now exceeded the target that we set ourselves in 2017 for two consecutive years,” he said.
New partnerships are being launched in the UK, US, and Australia.
