Vita Resources (ASX: VTA) has identified that the the banded iron formation (BIF) and the Celia and Ninnis fault corridors that host the Mt Morgans deposits potentially extend into the Ninnis Gold project in WA.

The company recently undertook a review of the Mt Morgan deposits which are only six kilometres south of the Ninnis Gold project and cluster about the regional Celia and Ninnis Gold fault systems.

Vita acquired Ninnis Gold, an early-stage exploration prospect in November 2025 and the Mt Morgans’ Transvaal and Craic deposits are relevant to Vita’s exploration model.

The Mt Morgans review places these deposits close to the Celia and Ninnis gold corridor and interpreted northeast-trending intersections.

Transvaal is described as a shear-hosted, silica-carbonate-sulphide gold occurrence in basalt, while Craic provides a further example of gold mineralisation in the wider BIF-bearing district.

Their locations support investigation of comparable structural positions at Ninnis Gold.

The Mt Morgans BIF and the Celia and Ninnis Gold fault corridor are interpreted to continue through the Ninnis Gold tenement, where magnetic imagery also indicates northeast-trending faults intersecting the corridor beneath soil cover.

Chairman, Gavin Rutherford, said the review has highlighted the structural positions of Transvaal and Craic, which Vita considers directly relevant to equivalent intersections at Ninnis Gold.

“Mt Morgans is more than a neighbouring gold mine to our Ninnis Gold project. Its history demonstrates that the district hosts several styles of gold mineralisation, with the Transvaal and Craic deposits highlighting why structural intersections along the Celia and Ninnis Gold corridors warrant investigation,” Mr Rutherford said.

“Ninnis Gold’s combination of gold anomalism in interpreted residual material, two prospective fault corridors and banded iron formations associated with a region that hosts significant gold deposits makes it a compelling prospect.

“Our objective is to complete the auger programme, integrate the assays with the geological and magnetic interpretation, and then systematically drill-test the priority bedrock targets, subject to results, satisfactory funding and programme planning.

“Vita considers this a useful exploration precedent for testing whether the residual gold anomalism identified by auger sampling at Ninnis Gold relates to a local bedrock source,” Mr Rutherford said.

VTA was steady at 1.8¢ with a Mkt cap of $1.752M prior to markets opening.
