Volpara Health Technologies (VHT) has promoted its CEO to the role of Managing Director.
Volpara’s Chief Executive Officer Teri Thomas has taken on the role of Managing Director, which was effective from October 1.
Ms Thomas was first appointed CEO in April 2022, bringing with her many years of experience as a registered nurse with a Master of Science degree.
Ms Thomas was a key member of the decision-making team behind Volpara acquiring Harvard spin-out CRA Health in February 2021.
“Teri’s appointment to the board is recognition of the positive impact she has already had on Volpara and our strong working relationship,” Chair Paul Reid said.
“Her drive to grow our top and bottom line while collaborating creatively with all stakeholders is quite remarkable.
“We are fortunate to benefit from both her leadership and her passion for saving families from cancer.”
Ms Thomas’ remuneration and other contractual arrangements will remain unchanged in the new role.
