Voltaic Strategic Resources (VSR) has struck multiple thick pegmatites at the Andrada prospect, located within its Ti Tree project in Western Australia.

The company recently completed its maiden drill campaign at the prospect ahead of schedule.

Phase one drilling covered six initial targets, spanning 15 drill holes for 894 metres, with pegmatites intersected in all holes and each remaining open at depth.

VSR Chief Executive Michael Walshe said the results were extremely encouraging.

“We now have a much-improved model of the regional pegmatites at Ti Tree in terms of structure, down-hole continuity and zonation, all of which are critical data for vectoring towards an LCT discovery,” he said.

Voltaic reported the drilling confirmed key structural trends associated with favourable lithium, caesium, and tantalum (LCT) pegmatoids in close proximity to granitic contacts.

The company has been fast-tracking logistics and planning to enable phase two drilling to test the down-dip and extensional potential of the significant pegmatites intercepted.

“Planning is also underway for a follow-up second phase of drilling, and we will soon
undertake several surveys including airborne magnetics/radiometrics, photogrammetry, and gravity,” Mr Walshe added.

“These programs should significantly increase the number of ‘priority one’ drill targets
at Ti Tree and ensure several months of highly active and material news flow over the
remainder of 2023.”

The company reported it believes scale potential exists, given the Andrada prospect resides within the 212 square kilometre Ti Tree and hosts more than 300 mapped pegmatites from surface, with less than 10 per cent of the tenure explored to date.

Shares in VSR were up 37 per cent and trading at 3.7 cents at 11:11am AEST.
