With more than seven million users on the HotCopper forums, every discussion and speculation can move Australian markets, which is why getting out in front of those trends is so important for any trader worth their salt. In this daily HotCopper Trends column, we break down the top three Aussie stocks talked about on any given trade day, and why they’ve drawn a daily focus intraday.

Neuren Pharma (ASX:NEU) has drawn the most conversations across HotCopper on this Wednesday, after the company pulled the trading brakes.

As for why – Neuren said it had an announcement coming “regarding U.S. FDA feedback on NNZ-2591 in Pitt Hopkins syndrome.” The company wants to pause until Friday to prepare for the now-expected release.

NEU shares were $14.63/ea before today’s halt.

Elsewhere, West Coast Silver (ASX:WCE) just came out of its own Week 6 halt, unveiling “bonanza” silver grades from its Elizabeth Hill exploration.

Native silver was intersected across multiple holes, West Coast told its shareholders today, with assays returning “exceptionally high grades and broad zones of high-grade mineralisation.” On the news, WCE jumped +9%.

Finally, Tivan (ASX:TVN) popped across headlines after upgrading its mineral resource estimate for Speedwah Fluorite. This, the Aussie company said – and HotCopper forum users loved – sets Tivan up with “one of the largest high-grade fluorite resources globally”; most was in the Indicated category.

Price-wise, TVN is up some +2.4% now.

And then looking wider, the ASX has been up +0.02%.
