Weebit Nano (WBT) is set to showcase its ReRAM IP module for the first time at the Leti Innovation Days event in Grenoble, France, this week.

The company said the showcase would highlight the tech’s real-world capability as a non-volatile memory (NVM) product integrated into an actual subsystem.

The interactive demonstration will show Weebit’s ReRAM tech functioning as an NVM memory block. The tech will be fed live images and retain this data while powered off, then display the data separately.

The demonstration will also show the speed of the ReRAM module, which will highlight its faster write speed compared to typical flash memory technology.

Weebit CEO Coby Hanoch said the showcase represented another key technical milestone as the company progressed towards full productisation.

“The demo will be a great asset for use in our sales activities with potential customers,” Mr Hanoch said.

The company said its “ground-breaking” ReRAM addressed the growing need for significantly higher performance and lower power memory solutions in a range of new electronic products such as Internet of Things (IoT) devices, smartphones and artificial intelligence.

Shares in Weebit Nano were up 12.76 per cent to $2.21 at 10:18 am AEST.
