- West Coast has spotted a DHEM conductor ~50 metres east of Elizabeth Hill mine, represented by a sizeable, discrete modelled plate.
- Diamond drill rig onsite will now test the new DHEM anomaly.
- Anomaly was identified in the first use of electromagnetics at Elizabeth Hill.
West Coast Silver (ASX:WCE) is fast-tracking the testing of a new anomaly identified through a downhole electromagnetics (DHEM) survey at the rich Elizabeth Hill project in Western Australia, immediately moving a diamond drill rig currently onsite to run experiments on the sizeable irregularity.

The large 20 metre to 100 metres by 60 metres anomaly was identified through the Western Australian explorer’s first use of DHEM at Elizabeth Hill. Drilling’s now expected to be completed in the coming week.
It is located 50 metres to the east of the Elizabeth Hill mine at 110 metres depth; historic drill hole AG54, which intersected two metres at 42 grams per tonne silver, is 25 metres up-dip and aligned with the DHEM plate model.
Executive chairman, Bruce Garlick, said the DHEM program was designed to test whether direct targeting of high-grade mineralisation could be achieved at Elizabeth Hill.
“The geophysical program initiated in February by WCE in conjunction with ERM and Southern Geosciences Consultants, utilising petrophysical data derived from 2025 drilling, has had an immediate impact on the exploration efforts,” he said.
“The team is currently relocating the drill rig to test this shallow anomaly, which, if it intersects mineralisation, could materially expand the resource potential and have a significant impact on the Elizabeth Hill project.”
The DHEM plate corresponds with the interpreted down-dip extent of previously identified granite-ultramafic contact in this area, which is significantly displaced from the Elizabeth Hill mine sequence to the east. It sits on a similar contact that is mineralised.
No other drilling has been conducted at this depth within the area, with all prior drilling positioned above or passing above this zone, westward away from this target towards the Munni Munni. Should mineralisation be intersected at the new hole, cutting, logging, and assaying will be completed over Q2.
Alongside the ongoing DHEM program, West Coast is conducting multiple exploration programs planned to end of May 2026, comprising reverse circulation drilling, diamond drilling and surface geophysics.
WCE is steady at 18¢. Mkt cap $64.59M.
