Wide Open Agriculture (WOA) has providing an update on the development of its lupin protein.

The company is aiming to create food and beverage products using the modified lupin protein it created in partnership with CSIRO and Curtin University.

The food and agriculture business revealed on Thursday that development was advancing well, with multiples samples sent off to leading food companies.

The lab aims to expand the state’s market reach in the growing alternative protein space, with a particular focus on the Singapore market.
