WIN Metals (ASX: WIN) is closing in on a potential return to gold production, with its Radio Gold Project in WA now backed by a completed Re-Start Study. In this edition of the Watchlist, WIN Metals Managing Director Steve Norregaard joins HotCopper to discuss the project’s rapid evolution.

The study outlines an integrated open-pit and underground operation, with first gold targeted around 11 months from funding.

WIN has moved quickly since acquiring Radio less than 12 months ago, growing the project’s Mineral Resource to 49,600 ounces at 4.2 grams per tonne gold and progressing metallurgical and development work.

The company is now focused on the next steps towards funding and development, while continuing to assess opportunities to extend Radio’s mine life and grow the operation through regional exploration.
