Worley (ASX:WOR) wins contract with MSD Animal Health

Worley (WOR) has won a service contract from MSD Animal Health to upgrade its animal vaccine plant in Upper Hutt, New Zealand.

MSD Animal Health is the animal health division of MSD, a global pharmaceutical company.

Under the contract, Worley will provide procurement and construction services over a four-year period.

Worley is on the ASX 200 list and is an engineering company that provides project delivery and consulting services.

The services by Worley will be undertaken by its New Zealand team.

Worley CEO Chris Ashton is pleased with the new contract.

“As a global professional services company headquartered in Australia, we are excited to be involved in this project with MSD Animal Health in New Zealand,” he said.

“It is a natural extension to the diverse professional and field services we offer to complex chemical and processing industries around the world,” he added.

On the market today, Worley is down 0.16 per cent and trading at $12.78 per share at 12:49 pm AEDT.
