Zenith Minerals (ZNC) has received results from a 32-hole reverse circulation (RC) drilling program completed at the Split Rocks Project in WA.

The second phase RC drilling program tested six key areas around the Dulcie area.

Today’s results come from new one-metre resample results with the preliminary batch of four-metre composite samples released on March 11.

As previously reported, drilling has confirmed the presence of strong gold mineralisation at multiple areas including the Dulcie Laterite Pit, Dulcie North and Water Bore.

At the Dulcie pit, gold mineralisation has been extended 500 metres south which takes the gold strike to more than 2000 metres. New results include three metres at 17.9g/ gold and eight metres at 2g/t gold including two metres at 7.2g/t gold.

Drilling at Dulcie North returned eight metres at 4.8g/t gold from 17 metres including three metres at 6.9g/t gold and eight metres at 1g/t gold from eight metres including one metre at 6.3g/t gold.

Lastly, drilling in water exploration holes identified a new gold zone which is open to the south. Results include three metres at 6.6g/t gold and five metres at 1.3g/t gold.

“The new one-metre assay results confirm and extend gold zones at multiple prospects. Gold mineralisation remains open and will be the focus of further RC drilling at Dulcie North and the Water Bore zone, whilst multiple high-priority gold targets over 18 kilometres of strike, remain to have first pass drill testing,” CEO Mick Clifford said.

Zenith has secured an aircore drill rig for a significant 100-hole drilling program set to begin in June. This program will test multiple new gold targets along the 18-kilometre strike.

Zenith ended the day 2.33 per cent in the green with shares closing at 22 cents.
